Has anyone ever really waited that long and gotten a paper check mailed 20 days ago?

I mailed a Christmas card in December of 2024 from Pompano Beach, Florida. It was delivered to an address about 30 miles away - last month (March of 2025).
The envelope showed the December 2024 postmark.
What are some good suggestions for books? I'm into romance, fantasy and Romantasy.
